Policano, Mike
Mike spent twenty-five years providing restructuring advisory services regarding financially troubled companies to financial institutions such as JP Morgan Chase, Citibank, Goldman Sachs, MetLife, Bank of America, and Wachovia. He worked on hundreds of U.S. and European companies, from Arthur Andersen to Xerox.
At the beginning of his career, Mike spent seven years at Arthur Andersen, and then six years at Zolfo Cooper. In 1990, he cofounded Policano & Manzo, which was then sold to FTI Consulting in 2000. Since retiring in 2005, he has been advising the management team of Silver Point Capital, and he speaks frequently at professional firms and MBA programs, including Harvard Business School, London Business School, the University of Wisconsin, and the Yale School of Management. Mike holds a BS in accounting with honors from Villanova, where he is currently an adjunct professor in the MBA program. He is a CPA and a CIRA.
