Tom Stern

Tom Stern, M.D. is an avid adventurer who, during one of his 60+ trips abroad, discovered gold on a remote island in the South China Sea. Enthusiastically, he set-up and operated a gold mine until a rash of killings by terrorists linked to the Abu Sayaff forced its closure. This, along with his five adventure-filled expeditions searching for the legendary Yamashita Gold, inspired his first novel, Gold Fever.

Based upon his knowledge of medicine, the Vatican, and international terrorism, Stern's second book, Vatican Gold, imagines a highly skilled team of courageous specialists equipped to dramatically deal with the new reality of threats faced in our post 9/11 world.

In Tom Stern's second novel, the next phase of world conflict claims the Vatican and terrorizes the Holy Lands. Chairman Nur Misuari, winner of the United Nations Peace Prize says "Everyone should read it. Tom Stern describes the Muslim-Christian struggle in a way that no other writer has equaled."
