Ben's Boat
When a beautiful boat comes to old Ben in a dream, he knows he needs to build it. On the night of the full moon, his friends send the boat down the mighty Mississippi to follow Ben's dreams. But it's a long journey to the wide open sea. This is how the little boat begins a big adventure that leads him through the forests of the north, the plains of the Midwest, and the bayous and beaches of the South, searching for the far-away ocean. With the help of all kinds of animals, from turtles and wolves to a baby moose and a yellow dog named Lovey Mae, the little boat gets into and out of trouble all the way from Minnesota to the Port of New Orleans. But there always seems to be somebody watching over him to lead him through. Ben's Boat is a story about love, adventure, and the power of faith, a trip through the heart of America to find a new home.
