Helping to Restore Our Forests

20-30 million trees are harvested each year for paper and paper products, and the publishing industry is one of the largest consumers of trees. So Greenleaf Book Group has decided to help do something about it.

Greenleaf has decided to become Tree Neutral™. As part of our Tree Neutral™ initiative, we are teaming up with American Forest's ReLeaf Campaign to plant trees in ecosystem restoration projects across the United States and around the world. For almost 20 years the ReLeaf campaign has worked to rebuild and expand wildlife habitats, to reduce erosion, and to replenish forests damaged by fire.

For every tree used by Greenleaf in printing books, we will sponsor the planting of a replacement tree by American Forests.

American Forests has already planted over 25 million trees. Greenleaf Book Group is helping this number grow and working toward a future when no one has to feel guilty for reading a 750-page book.
